Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Technician to join our team at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. As a key member of our production group, you will provide support to our team by setting up, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining preheat and temporary utility equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain preheat and temporary utility equipment, including strip heaters, temporary distribution panels, heater timer boxes, power supplies, stud guns, ventilation blowers, and hoses.
- Monitor heat and record and maintain those readings in a log book.
- Provide mechanical support to the production group as needed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance or other directly related experience.
- Must be available to work all shifts.
- Candidates must possess basic mechanical knowledge to be able to effectively support mechanical repairs when the need arises.
- Candidates must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools.
- Must be able to pick up and carry 50LBS.
- 3+ years with Electrical and Mechanical diagnostic and repair experience.
- Additional preference given for Vocational, Technical, and Community Colleges or Apprentice Programs.
- Familiarity with ATICTS, MRP II, SPARS is desired.
- Journeyman electrical, pipefitting, or plumbing.
- Military/Navy experience.
