Overview

As a Paramedic Basic at AMR, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in need. Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $73,394.83 - $112,102.00 depending on experience. Additionally, relocation assistance may be available for full-time paramedics.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing each call situation to determine the best course of action, utilizing advanced medical equipment and protocols to provide patient care. You will also communicate effectively with patients and loved ones, while acting as a team leader and taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed. Furthermore, you will drive the ambulance on 911 responses and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a High school diploma or equivalent (GED), a State Paramedic License, a State Driver's License, BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certification, and a driving record that meets company policy. Some work experience, preferably in healthcare, is also required.
