The Strategic Leadership Consultant will play a pivotal role in guiding and shaping the leadership potential within the realm of higher education.

By focusing on mid-level to senior executives, this position aims to hone the leadership skills, strategic thinking, and personal growth of these key figures, ensuring they lead with clarity, purpose, and vision.

Working directly with these executives, the consultant will help navigate challenges, set meaningful goals, and develop strategies to achieve them in the ever-evolving landscape of higher education.


Key Responsibilities:
Engage with mid-level to senior executives to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in their leadership styles.
Co-create personalized coaching plans tailored to individual needs, aspirations, and the specific challenges of higher education.
Provide regular feedback sessions, guiding executives in decision-making, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
Facilitate deep reflections, encouraging personal and professional growth.
Stay updated with the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in higher education to provide relevant guidance.
Collaborate with other coaches and industry experts to ensure a comprehensive coaching experience.
Measure the effectiveness of the coaching program through regular evaluations and adapt strategies accordingly.

Recommended Qualifications:
Master's degree in Leadership, Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. A Ph.D. or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive coaching, with a focus on higher education.
Profound understanding of the dynamics, challenges, and nuances of higher education.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record of facilitating measurable leadership growth.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism.

Preferred Attributes:
ICF (International Coach Federation) accreditation or equivalent coaching certification.
Empathetic listener with a genuine interest in helping leaders thrive.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
