We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented student to join our team as a Landscape Architecture and Environmental Urban Planning Student Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the CARTA Director, assisting with day-to-day initiatives and projects related to College business. This includes preparing presentations, reports, charts, and summaries, as well as providing support to staff and faculty with functional operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and complete projects as assigned by the CARTA Director
  • Provide administrative support to staff and faculty, including preparing reports and presentations
  • Assist with functional operations of the department, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the CARTA Director
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled at Florida International University
  • Awarded Federal Work Study (FWS) as part of their Financial Aid Award package
  • Enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate
Working Conditions

Hours will vary based on class schedule and needs of the department. The successful candidate must be able to lift/move items of 50lbs.

Salary and Benefits

$12.00/Hour
