Este puesto implica llevar a cabo las tareas de mecanizado del taller, así como también tener responsabilidades de ensamblaje y desensamblaje en reparaciones y proyectos más grandes. Además, se espera que el candidato apoye a otros empleados en áreas como fabricación, soldadura, reparación y servicio en campo. La remuneración varía según la experiencia, con un rango de $22 a $35 por hora.

EDUCACIÓN/EXPERIENCIA:

  • Graduado de secundaria o G.E.D.
  • Preferible haber completado formación vocacional o un aprendizaje.
  • Mínimo 3 años de experiencia como maquinista manual (no CNC).

REQUISITOS ESPECÍFICOS / CONOCIMIENTOS, HABILIDADES, LICENCIAS, CERTIFICACIONES, ETC:

  • Experiencia comprobada como maquinista (manejo de tornos y fresadoras manuales, tanto verticales como horizontales).
  • Capacidad para utilizar herramientas de precisión (calibradores, micrómetros, etc.) para realizar mediciones exactas.
  • Conocimiento de las propiedades de los metales y otros materiales.
  • Capacidad para realizar cálculos básicos y poseer habilidades analíticas.
  • Habilidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva, tanto por escrito como verbalmente.
  • Capacidad para seguir una serie de instrucciones de trabajo sin supervisión constante.
  • Realizar actividades físicas que incluyan levantamiento de cargas pesadas.
  • Experiencia en reparación de bombas industriales.
  • Experiencia en manejo de montacargas.
