Job Summary:

As a Manual Machinist at Mid-State Industrial Maintenance, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other equipment to produce precision parts and components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
  • Use manual micrometers, calipers, and gauges to measure dimensions and ensure quality control.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of machining techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with varying temperatures and conditions.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
