About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Engineering Solutions Architect to join our team at SAIC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and deploying digital engineering solutions to support the USAF.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement digital engineering solutions to improve our current platform and capture requirements.
  • Foster a digital engineering culture and engage with other engineers to develop Engineering, Integration, and Logistics work products.
  • Apply systems engineering and digital engineering methods to develop revolutionary digital engineering solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and emerging technologies, approaches, methods, and techniques to enhance digital engineering capabilities.
  • Mentor others on our solutions and standards, and support proposals and business development activities.
  • Present and write about digital engineering solutions and systems engineering concepts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 7+ years of related experience.
  • Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Domain knowledge about defense, space, or information technology.
  • Experience with enterprise modeling tools (e.g. Cameo/Magic Draw) to model complex systems using SysML.
  • Broad systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements, CONOPS, systems verification).
  • Experience in giving presentations and interfacing with USAF customers.
  • Experience with ICBM weapon systems.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • OMG Certified System Modeling Professional (OSCMP).
  • Experience leading SE teams through all phases of the systems engineering lifecycle using Digital Engineering (MBSE).
  • Knowledge of DODI and JCIDS process.
  • Practical experience with IEEE 15288.
  • INCOSE Certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) dependent on experience.
  • Experience or familiarity with the administration of Model Based Engineering tools.
