Siemens Healthineers is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, adhering to department protocols and procedures.
  • Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
  • Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts, ensuring accurate results.
  • Monitor patients for potentially hazardous physical and emotional changes, providing timely interventions as needed.
  • Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy, collaborating with peers and physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Inform physicians of preliminary findings, as requested, and distribute completed test results to relevant parties.
  • Maintain patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, logging data into patient information systems, and updating file systems for tests performed.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces, adhering to Infection Control procedures.
  • Recognize equipment malfunctions, readjusting equipment or requesting repairs as necessary.
  • Instruct patients in pre-test preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures, ensuring patient comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
  • Administer contrast agents, as approved by site Radiologists, following site-specific protocols.
  • Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to address service needs and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform additional duties as required, supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
  • Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
  • VIA experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, necessary for effective collaboration with client personnel and team members.
  • Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment essential for success in this role.
