We're seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Siemens Healthineers, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Hawaii, USA.
As a CT Tech, you'll work with innovative companies across the US, performing examinations of patients of all ages to assist in diagnosis.
Our client offers access to industry experts, ongoing training, and education, ensuring you stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging techniques.
Contracts for specific locations last from 12 weeks to a year, with a focus on placing you in new roles upon contract completion.
Responsibilities:- Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on anatomical regions according to department protocols.
- Locate and record internal elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
- Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Review tests with peers and physicians.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings according to department procedures.
- Distribute completed test results to physicians and service providers.
- Prepare diagnostic information for physician interpretation.
- Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, and log data into patient information systems.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answer questions, and explain procedures.
- Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
- Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
- Administer contrast agents under guidance and approval of site Radiologist.
- Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
- Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
- Call for service and notify team members.
- Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Experience:
- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
License/Certification:
- Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
Preferred Qualifications:
- VIA experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
- Must be flexible, reliable, and demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.
