Siemen Healthineers is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join their team in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
- Locate and record internal body elements, identifying anomalies indicative of disease or injury.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts.
- Monitor patients for physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy.
- Review tests with peers and physicians.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings and distribute completed test results.
- Maintain patient charts, enter diagnosis and billing codes, and log data into patient information systems.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace.
- Recognize equipment malfunctions and adjust or refer for repair.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation and answer questions.
- Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures.
- Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Siemens training programs.
- Administer contrast agents under the guidance and approval of site Radiologists.
- Maintain current Permits to Practice in all states where services are performed.
- Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot problems.
- Call for service and notify team members.
- Follow quality assurance guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience.
- Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
- VIA experience a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
- Flexibility, reliability, and sound judgment and initiative.
