Key Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and rectifies issues with malfunctioning electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Assembles, tests, and maintains electrical wiring and apparatuses, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Guarantees a consistent and reliable electrical supply to all Casino facilities.
- Ensures adherence to established electrical codes and safety regulations while executing various electrical installations.
- Implements installations related to facility upgrades and remodeling projects.
- Installs power outlets, relocates switches, and supports new HVAC system installations.
- Maintains the Casino's lighting infrastructure and collaborates with the Surveillance Department for specialized lighting needs.
- Conducts preventative maintenance on emergency power generators and electrical panels across the Casino property.
- Monitors and troubleshoots existing electrical systems, including backup generators.
- Oversees the Casino's electrical distribution network, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Assesses the electrical load of new projects and evaluates their impact on current systems.
- Reviews and interprets blueprints to plan for future electrical installations based on project specifications.
- Maintains compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety protocols.
- Follows safety procedures to mitigate risks and prevent workplace accidents.
- Mentors and guides junior Electrician Technicians, providing training and support.
- Supervises the quality of work performed by external electrical contractors.
- Advises Facilities Management on necessary repairs and improvements.
- Utilizes tools and equipment safely to ensure personal and team safety.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
Work Environment
Team Members may encounter secondhand tobacco smoke and varying noise levels, particularly in gaming areas. This role may involve exposure to diverse weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
- Frequent lifting, reaching, twisting, bending, and squatting is required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
- Five years of experience as a journeyman electrician or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- Valid State of Oregon Electrician's License is mandatory.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuit configurations.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage.
- Forklift and Genie Boom training/certification required within six months of hire.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Compliance with pre-employment and random drug testing protocols.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
