About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Document Processor to join our team in Austin, TX. As a Document Processor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our document processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Processing: Send, receive, and distribute advanced care planning documents in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Verification and Quality Control: Verify that documents are accurately completed, scanned, and distributed, and troubleshoot issues with moderate to high scope.
  • Workflow Navigation: Navigate all areas of ACP workflows to decipher where patients are in the ACP process and verify that these workflows are accurately completed.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot issues with printer/scanner/postage meters/check mail daily.
Requirements
  • Attention to Detail: Extreme attention to detail across all areas of document processing.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA and appropriate storage of documents.
  • Attendance and Reliability: Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Adaptability and Learning: Ability to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks, and ability to learn new software programs.
Education and Experience
  • Education: High School Diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year of relevant professional experience, such as medical records, document scanning, or legal documentation.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged Sitting and Computer Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifts, carries, or otherwise moves items weighing up to 35 pounds.
