Part-Time Retail Merchandiser Role at Hallmark US Springboard

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to join our team at Hallmark US Springboard. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for merchandising, creating, and building displays within your assigned territory to provide a positive shopper experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and have strong organization and time management skills. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, while also supporting fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations.

The ideal candidate should be able to read, write, and understand English fluently, possess basic math skills, and be comfortable using hand-held technology provided by the company. Reliable transportation and access to a Wi-Fi network are also essential requirements for this role.

Apart from competitive pay ranging between $15.50 and $16.50 per hour, depending on the shift and location, part-time employees with less than 30 hours of work per week can also access a range of voluntary benefits through Mercer Indigo, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).

As a retail merchandiser, you will perform various tasks, such as:

  • Day-to-day engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Holiday support: Working additional days and extended hours during peak seasons, such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
  • Department Resets: Participating in team efforts to install and reset card sections, fixtures, and other display materials.

In addition to these responsibilities, you may occasionally be asked to service another vendor's product in a store. If so, you will receive detailed instructions and budgeted time for this task.

Working as a retail merchandiser requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Stoop, squat, walk, and stand throughout your workday, and be prepared to climb stairs and step ladders when necessary.
