Job Title: Structured Assets Credit Analyst

Securian Financial Group is seeking a skilled Structured Assets Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our structured assets team, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating structured assets to ensure they meet our investment objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of structured assets, including primary and secondary markets, to identify potential investment opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of structured asset markets, including underlying asset performance metrics and relative value analysis.
  • Collaborate with the structured assets team to develop and implement investment strategies that align with our investment objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations to the team on structured asset market trends and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of internal rating assessments and evaluation of underlying asset performance metrics.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a structured analyst role, with a strong background in credit analysis and risk management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, including Bloomberg and Excel.
