We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Production Assistant to join our team at Events Unlimited. As an Event Production Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events by providing exceptional support to our event teams.
Key Responsibilities- Event Setup and Strike: Assist with the setup and strike of event equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, games, decor, furniture, sound equipment, video equipment, lighting, projection, and other event equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the inventory management of all event equipment and company property, including cataloging, storing, and maintaining equipment.
- Logistics and Transportation: Assist with the loading and unloading of company trucks, as well as driving company vehicles to and from events.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer support by assisting with custom projects, prepping customer orders, processing returns, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support by troubleshooting and solving technical problems, performing updates, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Team Support: Assist the event teams with any tasks or projects as needed, including pitching in to ensure the success of events or the company.
- Can-do Attitude: A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Work Ethic: A strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Availability: Availability to work 7 days a week, with regular and consistent company travel.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work.
- Technical Skills: Basic technical knowledge and experience with PC-based operating systems, installing and removing software, configuring programs, troubleshooting, and solving technical problems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and move event equipment, as well as work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Experience: Experience working in a general labor capacity, doing physical work, or working in a warehouse/production capacity.
- Skills: Experience loading trucks/unloading trucks, driving large vehicles, box trucks, and towing trailers, forklift experience, scissor lift experience, and certifications.
