Job Title: Frontend Software Engineer

At Verticalmove, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend code using React, JavaScript, and HTML5/CSS3.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify opportunities for adopting modern technologies and implement them in our applications.
  • Work closely with our Staff Engineer to define solution requirements and technical implementation approaches.
  • Participate in team and company-wide architecture and engineering discussions and forums.
  • Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software for use in local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related environments.
  • Ensure the health and quality of our codebase, including leadership over SCM, functional testing, and CI/CD tool integration.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and practices in NodeJS, npm, and front-end frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with React, JavaScript frameworks, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • 3+ years of experience with REACT/Redux preferred.
  • 3+ years of expertise with bundlers like Webpack and Rollup preferred.
  • 3+ years of expertise with package managers like npm and Yarn preferred.
  • 3+ years of expertise with integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Any experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience with JSON, Web Service technologies, and fundamentals.
  • 2+ years of experience with performance tuning of Single-Page Applications (SPAs).
  • Optimize code for performance to ensure faster loading times and smooth user experiences.
  • Experience in debugging, tracing, and fixing end-to-end issues.
  • Experience with WAI-ARIA and WCAG is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web security, OAuth, and JWT is a plus.
  • Must currently reside in Phoenix for an in-person interview.
