Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal ICU Nurse to join our team at Johns Hopkins HealthCare. As a Neonatal ICU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in our state-of-the-art Level III+ Lundy Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and manage the physical and emotional needs of patients and their families.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in neonatal care.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the NICU.
Requirements
  • BSN degree preferred; Associate degree RNs will be required to matriculate within 4 years of hire.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a NICU setting.
  • Previous NICU experience strongly preferred.
  • Current Maryland RN license or other compact state license that allows practice in Maryland.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Ability to pass all hospital competencies required for the position, including ACLS, PALS, and NRP.
