We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Johns Hopkins Health System. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of experience in critical care nursing preferred.
- Current Maryland RN license or licensure in a compact state that allows practice in Maryland.
- CPR and ACLS certification required.
