Job Title: Retail Merchandise Processor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Merchandise Processor to join our team at McClintock Store (Southern & McClintock). As a key member of our retail team, you will play a crucial role in processing donated merchandise, ensuring it is properly categorized, priced, and prepared for sale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and inspect donated merchandise, including pricing and ticketing.
  • Meet minimum quota set for assigned department.
  • Safeguard company property, including donated goods, and report any incidents of theft or misappropriation.
  • Understand that donated merchandise is the property of the company and has no authorization to give it away.
Customer and Community:
  • Assist customers on the sales floor with questions or concerns.
Operational Excellence:
  • Inspect donated merchandise, analyzing quality and determining proper category, size, and cleaning.
  • Inform leaders of any potentially hazardous materials found while processing merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with.
Team Goodwill:
  • May be cross-trained as a Retail Sales Associate.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
