As a vital member of our marketing and business development division, you will be responsible for crafting and implementing engaging written and visual content that showcases BKF's services and aligns with our brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the timely and compliant preparation of multiple concurrent client proposals and presentations.
  • Engage in copywriting, document formatting, proofreading, graphic coordination, and the production of marketing collateral.
  • Conduct peer reviews and quality assurance checks on marketing materials as assigned.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Information to partnering teams and integrate their input into marketing outputs.
  • Collaborate with department heads regarding project scope and fees as necessary.
  • Maintain organized marketing files and data using various software tools.
  • Communicate effectively with the internal Marketing and Business Development Team.
  • Design and execute diverse marketing and communication materials to support the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate and produce submissions for awards and recognitions.
  • Be flexible with working hours to meet project demands and deadlines.
  • Occasional travel to other offices may be required.
  • Assist with additional projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the RFP process and proposal development, ideally within an A/E/C firm.
  • Experience in one or more of BKF's key market sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including department and project managers.
  • Strong graphic design sensibility and page layout skills are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Familiarity with Deltek Vision, Canva, and HubSpot is a plus.

Location & Compensation:

This position supports a healthy work-life balance through a hybrid work model.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $88,000 annually, based on education, experience, qualifications, skills, and performance.
