About the Position

The Floor Maintenance Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our communities. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain all types of flooring in resident units and common areas, including back-of-house spaces.
  • Strip and wax floors as required or assigned, in accordance with community standards and procedures.
  • Work in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner to ensure a high level of resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Environmental Services to ensure seamless execution of cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  • Experience in floor maintenance or cleaning, preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to communicate with residents, guests, and colleagues.
  • Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, work in narrow spaces, and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work continuously without sitting for extended periods.
