Job Title: Staff Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Civil Engineer to join our team at GEI Consultants. As a Staff Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in assisting with ongoing field and engineering design efforts related to dams and embankment design, storm water management, site development, water and wastewater engineering, and other engineering design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects, including dams, embankments, storm water management systems, and site development.
  • Conduct field investigations and gather data to support engineering design efforts.
  • Prepare permit, bidding, and documentation drawing sets.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and calculations to support project design and development.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Must have passed the FE exam.
  • 0-5 years of civil design experience with dams, embankment design, water, wastewater, roads, landfill, remediation, or mining projects.
  • Experience with standard analysis programs, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office programs, and surface water management programs desired.
  • GIS and modeling is a plus.
