Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Administrative Assistant to join our team at SNB. As a key member of our Commercial Loan team, you will provide exceptional administrative support to our Commercial Loan Officers, ensuring seamless customer relationships and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Expertise: Represent SNB in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain customer relationships, opening new accounts and managing existing ones with precision and attention to detail.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Create and maintain accurate credit files, gathering and preparing necessary documentation for lending processes.
  • Application Preparation: Assist in preparing commercial credit applications, ensuring all required information is complete and accurate.
  • Reporting and Follow-up: Assist in following up on necessary reporting and obtaining proper documentation to ensure accurate cataloging.
  • Overdraft Processing: Make informed decisions on overdraft processing for assigned accounts and provide backup support to officers in their absence.
  • Technical Loan Exceptions: Assist in following up on minor past dues, overdrafts, and technical loan exceptions.
  • Wire Transfer Requests: Prepare wire transfer requests with precision and accuracy.
  • Documentation Indexing: Index all documentation received electronically from Commercial Loan Officers.
  • Account Pricing and Modeling: Calculate account pricing and modeling to optimize customer pricing in coordination with loan officers' needs.
  • Prospecting and Cross-Selling: Identify and generate new prospects and cross-sale opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: 4-year college degree or related work experience, with 3 years of accounting or business experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs, with working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary for this role.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization and adapt to changing priorities.
