Position Summary

As a Commercial Construction Specialist at Sunkota Construction, you will be integral to the development of various commercial buildings and infrastructures that enhance the community's landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a variety of skilled tasks associated with commercial construction initiatives.
  • Assist in site preparation and organization, including debris removal and equipment setup.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure precise project execution.
  • Contribute to the construction of foundational elements, walls, roofs, and other structural components.
  • Install fixtures such as doors, windows, and flooring to achieve high-quality finishes.
  • Operate and maintain a diverse range of construction tools and machinery.
  • Collaborate effectively with the construction team to adhere to project timelines and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work environment by following established procedures.
  • Continuously develop your skills and knowledge in commercial construction methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial construction or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that may involve kneeling, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
