Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with site management to analyze retention patterns, turnover statistics, employee engagement efforts, safety incidents, and overall training program effectiveness.
  • Design and implement tailored training strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess skill gaps and prioritize training needs.
  • Develop and manage the training roadmap for Floor Trainers, ensuring adherence to established standards.
  • Create and deliver training solutions that meet the specific needs of the facility, including conducting 'train the trainer' sessions as necessary.
  • Monitor new hire productivity during their initial period, providing feedback and evaluating readiness for independent work.
  • Maintain records of new hire performance metrics and present findings to leadership to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Generate training materials, presentations, and documentation for orientation and ongoing training sessions.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management to assess employee performance post-training.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to analyze performance data and provide coaching to team members to achieve their goals.
  • Oversee continuous training initiatives for employees, including post-onboarding programs and safety training.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct assessments for proper equipment usage.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for external candidates and may contribute to hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate benefit education sessions during new hire orientation and assist with the rollout of company-wide initiatives.
  • Travel to various sites to implement training programs and provide support as needed.
  • Certify employees in Material Handling upon meeting specific safety and compliance criteria.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and Material Handling Equipment standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing and executing training programs or leadership roles within a warehouse environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions and adapt to a flexible schedule, including weekends.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with fluctuating noise levels.
