We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Equipment Management: Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment on the lot.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University, and complete certification programs for propane filling and forklift operation.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- High School Diploma: Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
