Job Summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist IV to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems throughout the plant, maintaining electrical equipment through preventative maintenance procedures, and assisting in the implementation of new control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot Electrical Systems: Identify and resolve electrical system issues to ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Maintain Electrical Equipment: Perform preventative maintenance procedures to ensure electrical equipment is in good working condition.
  • Implement New Control Systems: Assist in the development and implementation of new control systems to improve plant efficiency.
  • Research and Develop Better Controls: Conduct research to identify opportunities for improving electrical processes and develop solutions to implement these improvements.
  • Track and Monitor Reoccurring Problems: Identify and track reoccurring electrical system issues and develop solutions to correct these problems.
  • Identify Weaknesses in Equipment: Identify weaknesses in electrical equipment and develop solutions to address these issues.
  • Train Operators and Maintenance Technicians: Provide training to operators and maintenance technicians on the operation and troubleshooting of electrical equipment.
  • Assist Maintenance Personnel: Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation.
Requirements
  • Industrial Electrical Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical systems.
  • Schematic Reading Capability: Extensive experience with schematic reading and interpretation.
  • PLC Coding/Troubleshooting: Experience with PLC coding and troubleshooting.
  • Electrical Certifications: Possession of relevant electrical certifications, such as Allen Bradley or Square D.
Selection Process

The selection process will consist of a panel interview and a series of standardized and/or hands-on testing issued by the company/third-party testing facility.

This is a progressionary position, and level 3 must be achieved by 18 months from start date.
