Ascension Saint Thomas Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a skilled RN Supervisor to join our team. As a leader in behavioral health treatment, we provide a full continuum of services for adults and seniors.
Responsibilities:- Provide and coordinate patient care through the collaborative efforts of team members.
- Function as the lead nurse on assigned shifts, responsible for staff assignments and direction of duties.
- Provide professional and administrative leadership to staff, accountable for staffing performance.
- Coordinate nursing, medical, and behavioral health care activities with all staff to ensure smooth coordination of efforts.
- Supervise staff assignments according to education and ability, provide mentoring and training as needed.
- Document medical, behavioral health information, and nursing care, administer medications, and maintain records.
- Develop and update patient care plans, provide structure and maintain a therapeutic environment.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Three or more years' experience in nursing practice required, two or more years' experience in behavioral health preferred.
- Current RN license, CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
