Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team at Everlast Brands. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and reliability of our machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, maintain, and repair machinery and vehicles to meet manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect machines, engines, and mechanical systems to identify functionality issues and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Conduct repairs to maximize reliability and troubleshoot reported problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems, including cleaning and lubricating components.
  • Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery, and provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned, such as repair of hydraulic systems and painting vehicles.
  • Keep logs of work and report on issues.
Requirements
  • Valid certification (e.g. ASE) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Mechanic.
  • Excellent knowledge of machinery, including hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
  • Aptitude in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and practices, and read instructions and blueprints.
  • A strong commitment to health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Very good physical strength and stamina.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred.
