Overview:
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permit Coordinator to join our team at SQUAN. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the permitting process for various projects, ensuring timely submissions and approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the permitting process for multiple projects, including submissions, rejections, and resubmittals.
- Communicate effectively with Jurisdictions Having Authority (JHAs), project managers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project trackers, including permit statuses and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the drafting/design team to ensure timely delivery of permit-ready documents.
- Manage relationships with JHAs, clients, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years of experience in project coordination, logistics, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
