Position Overview

This full-time, on-site position as a Maintenance Team Lead at Braun Ambulances involves overseeing and executing equipment upkeep, preventive maintenance, and management of maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and delegate tasks to the maintenance team, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Identify and facilitate appropriate training for team members.
  • Assist team members in troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Provide updates on maintenance activities and progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture aligned with Braun's Mission, Vision, and Values within the team.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, including the repair of tools and auxiliary equipment.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Conduct facility maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.
  • Carry out electrical tasks such as circuit installation and repair of motors and controls up to 480 V/3-phase.
  • Diagnose mechanical and operational issues with assigned equipment and implement corrective measures.
  • Monitor and maintain building systems, including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and cooling.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Collaborate with equipment vendors for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Be available for non-standard working hours, including weekends, to minimize production disruptions.
  • Perform safety audits and implement necessary corrections, including checks on fire extinguishers and emergency lighting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
  • Operate forklifts for material handling, including hazardous waste.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of maintenance experience.
  • Successful completion of maintenance competency assessments.
  • Strong understanding of both low and high voltage electrical systems.
  • Proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with small machinery and various power tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of basic OSHA safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout procedures).

Physical Requirements
