Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mobile Response Social Worker to join our team. As a Mobile Response Team Social Worker, you will provide proactive early intervention to divert youth from more restrictive interventions and ensure that families receive coordinated care and access to long-term services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and other mental health services as needed at Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES), in client homes, and in the community.
  • Offer counseling, therapy, and case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and their families to community-based resources.
  • Participate in all treatment reviews, program staff meetings, and IEP meetings when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation and paperwork.
  • Assist with planning for transportation arrangements for school, therapy appointments, and court hearings.
  • Provide crisis intervention for students, using de-escalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, professional clinical counseling, or psychology.
  • Eligible to register with the California BBS (AMFT, ASW, APCC).
  • Own vehicle, California driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Benefits
  • Starting salary: $75,000 - $89,000 per year.
  • Additional $4,000 salary increase for BBS licensure.
  • Additional salary increase upon passing of a bilingual proficiency exam.
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus for new employees.
  • 5 weeks of Paid Time off and 11 Paid Holidays.
  • Relocation assistance may be available.
About the Role

This is a full-time position, working Wednesday - Saturday 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with on-call crisis response shifts on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, flexibility, and experience working with children and families in out-of-home care.
