Job Description

Gregorys Coffee Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Leader to oversee a territory of our coffee shops, ensuring exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting our Store Leaders, setting goals, and working alongside our teams to achieve these goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Development
    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires and transfers to ensure a smooth transition into our coffee shop environment.
    • Conduct regular evaluations and observations to ensure our teams are upholding our high standards.
    • Identify and develop high-potential talent to drive future leadership growth.
    • Provide ongoing training and education to enhance coffee, food, and service knowledge.
  • Coffee and Food Standards
    • Develop and maintain expertise in coffee, including origin concepts, brew methods, and techniques.
    • Train and hold accountable our teams to ensure exceptional coffee quality and consistency.
    • Lead coffee tastings and training sessions to build our reputation as coffee experts.
  • Operational Standards
    • Ensure all operational standards are being executed as planned, including Department of Health standards.
    • Train teams on new menu and operational rollouts.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and merchandising in our coffee shops.
  • Service Standards
    • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and coach our teams to do the same.
    • Proactively manage customer concerns and coach our teams on how to resolve issues.
    • Build strong relationships with our customers and local influencers to drive business growth.
  • Facilities & Maintenance
    • Proactively maintain and clean equipment, partnering with service techs as needed.
    • Ensure all stores are properly maintained and prepared for health inspections.
    • Organize and clean out store clutter to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
  • Financial Performance
    • Work closely with our Exec team to set and manage controllable profit areas, including sales, labor, and COGS.
    • Monitor inventory levels and ordering activity to ensure sufficient product without exceeding COGS targets.
    • Manage weekly payroll reconciliation and cash handling responsibilities.
    Additional Expectations
    • This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement in our coffee shops to drive revenue, efficiency, and profitability.
    • Regular communication with our Exec team is expected to keep them informed of business performance and proactive solutions.
    • Actively embody our 12 Leadership Principles and live them out with our teams every day.
