Key Responsibilities- Manage distributors to achieve sales goals, including shipments, depletions, and distribution.
- Execute and comply with all channels of trade.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to achieve annual program goals.
- Develop and implement annual business plans for designated markets.
- Create and introduce company brand programs and strategies.
- Assess distributor performance and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve distributor capabilities.
- Ensure Banfi's distributors are managing Banfi's national brand strategies.
- Call on retail, on-premise, and chain accounts.
- Stay up-to-date on products, wine industry trends, competitive markets, brands, and customer needs.
- Cultivate cross-department relationships within the company.
- Exercise fiduciary duty to the company in all financial matters.
- Solicit sales and develop new accounts.
- Conduct wine tastings and wine dinners.
- Train on-premise and off-premise account staff on Banfi wine products.
- Four-year college degree or equivalent.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate in a professional and personable manner.
- Fluent knowledge of PC systems and Microsoft Office.
- Mathematical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
- Interpretive skills and ability to interpret statistical information.
- Current valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel overnight as required.
- Presentation skills and public speaking ability.
- Excellent time management skills.
- No DWI offenses or illegal drug use.
- Use of a clean, late-model, presentable, and fully operational 4-door vehicle for business purposes.
