As a leading provider of support services, we have been serving over 600 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Prince George's County since 1952. Our primary areas of support include Community Living, Family and Personal Supports, Employment Services, and Day Programs.

ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership
  • Provide clinical leadership for staff during shifts, ensuring the medical well-being of individuals in their care.
  • Read and review nursing care plans for each individual, making adjustments as needed.
  • Administer medications and document on medication administration records.
Personal Care and Support
  • Implement nursing plans of care, ensuring that individuals receive tailored support.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, and lifting/transferring when necessary.
  • Provide training and support to individuals to promote independence in managing their health.
Community Participation and Social Life
  • Encourage individuals to participate in community activities, promoting social interaction and inclusion.
  • Assist with leisure activities and outings, enhancing the quality of life for individuals.
Communication and Documentation
  • Use effective communication skills to engage with individuals, families, and staff.
  • Document progress on individual outcomes, completing daily activity and communication logs.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
  • Valid LPN license for the state of Maryland.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with individuals in a caregiving setting.
  • A good driving record, reliable vehicle, and current Maryland Driver's License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $34.36-$36.42 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
