Patient Services Representative I

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I - Float is responsible for registering patients, handling first call resolution, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register patients and obtain accurate demographic, financial, and medical information
- Handle first call resolution for assigned departments
- Transfer calls and make appointments as necessary
- Pre-register patients for procedures and coordinate multiple resources
- Perform administrative tasks, including opening and sorting mail, and distributing correspondence
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of related customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare
- Demonstrated understanding of basic medical terminology preferred
