We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Representative I - Float to join our team at Tidelands Health. This role is responsible for registering patients, handling first call resolution, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients and obtain accurate demographic, financial, and medical information
  • Handle first call resolution for assigned departments
  • Transfer calls, make appointments, and pre-register patients as needed
  • Assist with referrals, prior authorization, and payment collections
  • Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming patient experience
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 1 year of related customer-facing experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic medical terminology preferred
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, sitting, and walking, as well as the ability to use hands and fingers to perform tasks. The employee must exert up to 15 pounds of force occasionally and up to 5 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
