Position Overview

Shifts Available: Full Time Day and Night Opportunities

The Patient Care Assistant utilizes a combination of cognitive, interpersonal, and technical abilities to deliver fundamental patient support. Under the guidance of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Assistant engages in routine, direct bedside assistance for patients across various age groups as outlined by departmental service scope. Responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to: personal hygiene, data collection and monitoring, vital signs assessment, intake and output tracking, equipment usage, activities of daily living (ADLs), documentation in medical records, responding to call lights, and identifying and reacting to emergency situations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in acute care or specialized settings.
  • Nursing Assistant certification upon hire.

The compensation range provided is the base pay; additional remuneration may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
