Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and contributing to the academic and research missions of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye disorders and diseases.
  • Supervise, mentor, and teach medical students, residents, and fellows in ophthalmology and visual neurosciences.
  • Participate in research projects and academic/scholarly activities, either as a collaborator or independent researcher.
  • Develop and implement curriculum for medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited ACGME Ophthalmology residency and/or fellowship training program.
  • Board eligible/certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology.
  • Licensed or ability to obtain the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in the State of Minnesota.
  • Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
