Job Title: Customer Development Representative

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Development Representative to join our team at Mouser Electronics. As a Customer Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving incremental sales growth within assigned accounts through relationship marketing and identification of new and creative strategic opportunities for further partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate Mouser's overall value to customers and increase sales from existing assigned customer accounts by locating and identifying new business opportunities and building rapport and relationship with key decision makers.
  • Work with Customer Service Representatives and Management to penetrate shared CDR accounts more deeply and interact effectively and professionally with others.
  • Demonstrate ability to convert prospects and close sales while maintaining established sales goals with existing customers and follow up on customer submitted requests for quotation.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of complicated tasks and plans and analyzes the impact of decisions before execution.
  • Expand product knowledge utilizing all available sources and possess the highest level of ethics and integrity.

Requirements:

  • Desire and ability to build customer relationships with a very outgoing and mature personality and highly organized with very effective time management skills.
  • Possesses strong presentation skills, ability to effectively present information to a group of people at all levels and strong written and verbal communication skills - equally strong listening skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals and able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • Ability to verbalize and express themselves well in a telephone environment with a clear enunciation of English and must be internet savvy and familiar with Internet E-Commerce.
  • PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software and experience with CRM (Salesforce) software is preferred.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or an acceptable combination of education and experience and 3 years' experience of business-to-business relationship sales and account management.
