Onsite Services Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional to support assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding service, and driving account growth through our KeepStock program.

About the Position:

This role reports to a Supervisor or Manager of Onsite Services and involves supporting customers at multiple locations with responsibilities including receiving and stocking purchased products, evaluating and improving orders, resolving customer problems promptly, and following designated routes defined by routing software tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service customer locations with specific responsibilities including receiving and stocking purchased products, evaluating and improving orders, and resolving customer problems promptly.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
  • Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
Account Growth:
  • Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
  • Probe for customer needs during each site visit and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews with customers and sales partners to assess viability of Inventory Solutions offerings.
About You:
  • Three years' experience in selling or service environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service and sales growth oriented.
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
