Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Insurance Services Group of the Southeast, Inc. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote environment. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to policyholders and agents, answering incoming phone calls, completing outbound calls, returning voicemail messages, and providing support or directing calls to the appropriate staff member.
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless customer service
- Develop and maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures to effectively handle customer inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track customer interactions and issue resolutions
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year commercial underwriting/premium audit experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment free from outside distraction/interruption
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, basic life insurance, voluntary life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
