About the Position

The Front Desk Administrative Assistant will play a critical role in leading our front reception desk, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and providing exceptional support to our staff and clients.

This is a full-time, hourly position that requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Leading CHR's Front Reception Desk
    • Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ensuring a welcoming space for clients and staff.
    • Perform key clerical tasks, including faxing, emailing, copying, filing, and updating trackers and project management tools.
    • Open and close the office building, greet and assist visitors, and sign for medicine deliveries.
    • Ensure all necessary forms and documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Triaging Calls and Emails
    • Handle incoming calls and emails from clients, staff, and external stakeholders, providing timely and accurate responses.
    • Triaging calls and emails to ensure prompt attention to client needs and staff requests.
  • Supporting Staffing Schedule Maintenance and Time Sheet/Sign In Log Audits
    • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date staffing schedules, time sheets, and sign-in logs.
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Playing an Active Role in Ensuring a Safe and Healthy Work Environment
    • Demonstrate a commitment to respect and dignity in all interactions with clients and staff.
    • Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in administrative, front desk, customer service, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace/GDrive.
  • Critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining organized workflows.
  • Familiarity with CRMs and project management applications preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate budgeting, bookkeeping, and planning skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for making systems more efficient and intuitive.
  • Ability to securely and responsibly handle confidential information.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods.
Work Environment

This is a full-time, in-person position at the CHR office in Sparks, NV. Reliable transportation is required. Office hours are from 9am to 5pm PST.

Travel

Minimal to no travel required for this position.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $16-18/hr and commensurate with experience. Benefits include:

  • 75% employer-paid health insurance.
  • 50% employer-paid dental insurance.
  • Employer-paid trainings and certification classes to maintain compliance with relevant State and regional agencies.
  • Short-term disability coverage.
  • Gas allowance (for qualifying employees).
  • Ability to request up to 6 weeks of vacation a year (currently unpaid).
  • End-of-year Winter Bonus pay.

Employees eligible for insurance benefits 90 days after hire date.
