Established in 1863, the Detroit Medical Center (DMC) has been a prominent healthcare provider in Metro Detroit for over 150 years. With a commitment to academic excellence and innovative patient care, the DMC is one of the largest hospital systems in Southeast Michigan.
We are currently seeking a Senior Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, a 446-bed teaching hospital that offers a comprehensive range of medical services, including cardiac care, cancer treatment, gerontology, emergency medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology.
This role will involve coordinating the provision of care through assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing patient needs, delegating tasks, and evaluating patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to problem-solve system and unit-based issues, provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals, and participate in activities pertinent to the unit and hospital.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with at least one to two years of progressively more responsible experience in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred, and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan is required. Basic Life Support certification is also necessary, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is an asset.
As a Senior Healthcare Coordinator, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance, dental coverage, vision benefits, and an employee assistance program. We also offer retirement savings plans, life insurance, and disability coverage.
The DMC is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse environment that fosters collaboration and innovation. If you are a motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
