Summary:
The role involves delivering both direct and indirect nursing care to individual patients or groups. The position encompasses responsibilities in various areas including admissions, recovery, and procedural rooms.

1. Complies with established Nursing Standards of practice, which include Assessment, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation.
2. Operates in accordance with Unit-based Protocols.
3. Administers medications and IV solutions following hospital policies and seeks necessary information from appropriate resources.
4. Evaluates the educational needs of patients and their families or significant others.
5. Develops and delivers suitable instructional content.
6. Assesses and records the effectiveness of educational efforts.
7. Engages in unit-based initiatives and contributes to Nursing/Hospital Committees.
8. Participates in ongoing professional development through Continuing Education Programs and annual compliance training.
9. Cultivates a positive work atmosphere by setting a personal example and promoting teamwork.
10. Facilitates patient care and delegates tasks to team members to create a supportive environment.
11. Takes on the responsibilities of a charge RN, demonstrating independent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
12. Exhibits strong organizational and prioritization skills, assisting in the orientation and training of nursing staff.
