About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Highlands Ranch Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering top-notch medical services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to healthcare providers, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and preparing exam rooms.
  • Conduct vital signs, obtain medical histories, and assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
  • At least three months of experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire or within 60 days of employment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
