We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Medicine Faculty Member to join our team at the University of Kansas Medical Center. As an Assistant Professor in our department, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to provide exceptional patient care, education, and research in the field of adult congenital heart disease.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the ACHD Population: Provide comprehensive care to patients with adult congenital heart disease in both acute and ambulatory settings.
- Provide Imaging and Advanced Imaging Services: Utilize advanced imaging skills to diagnose and treat patients with ACHD and general cardiology population.
- Participate in In-Patient Rounding Services: Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Department to provide high-quality patient care in the in-patient setting.
- Contribute to Education and Research: Engage in teaching, research, and service activities to advance the field of adult congenital heart disease.
- Education: M.D. degree and accredited three-year Fellowship in Cardiology, ABIM Boards in Cardiovascular Disease, and ABIM Boards in Internal Medicine.
- Work Experience: One to five years of experience or training in ACHD, with advanced imaging skills for diagnosis and treatment.
- Education: Accredited two-year Fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease, ABIM Boarded in ACHD, ABIM Boards in Cardiac Ultrasound, and Boards in Advanced Imaging.
