Piedmont is seeking a highly skilled Central Sterile Tech-I to join our Sterile Processing team. As a Central Sterile Tech-I, you will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of patient care by ensuring the proper processing and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform sterilization, assembly, and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist in maintaining consistent and continuous workflow, providing superior customer service.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Graduate of a Central Service Processing program, or prior experience as a Central Service Tech, or Surgical Tech experience, or completion of a Surgical Tech program.
- N/A
