Job Title: Information Technology Support Specialist

At Stephenson Technologies Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support for our information systems and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Support: Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain information systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
  • User Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training sessions for staff on new systems and applications, and create and maintain user guides, technical documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Data Management: Assist with data entry, data analysis, and reporting as needed, and support the management of databases and information repositories.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team and other departments to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
  • Customer Service: Respond to user inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS), software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.), and basic networking concepts.
  • Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams and users.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
Security Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
  • One to three years of experience in IT Support, related work, or equivalent.
  • Work may require access to classified information. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
Physical Demands:

Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on a computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face to face. The position requires some light physical effort. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to ten pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment:

This position may require occasional evening or weekend work for system maintenance or upgrades.

Travel Demands:

Dependent upon contract requirements.
