Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain both residential and commercial HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and identify issues with HVAC systems, providing accurate and timely solutions.
  • Install new HVAC systems, including wiring, piping, and ductwork, adhering to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
  • Test system components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, provide repair options, and educate on proper system usage.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate service records, including parts used, work performed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide support as needed to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Basic understanding of pipe installation.
  • Download and back up control files for customer equipment.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to lift at least 70 lbs. and be willing and able to climb ladders.
  • 1+ years of commercial HVAC experience preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functionality.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and other HVAC testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
  • Must be able to complete a criminal background check, drug test, and driver's license check.
  • EPA Certification Universal.
